YES and No! If your in a resturaunt I think yes because I for one dont want cigerette smoke all in my face when im trying to eat. Thats about the only place. Think about it…..If there is a smoking section and a non smoking section in a resturaunt and no wall to seperate the rooms(sections) then how in the worl can you tell the difference. Just because you are sitting in a non smoking booth doesnt mean smoke cant drift your way.

On the other hand I say no because its their right to do what they want. A little respect in a resturaund would be nice but every where else doesnt bother me. Things like some states banning smoking while your in the car….OUTRAGIOUS. If they are in their car and they want to smoke then why stop them.? Thats my opinion on that subject.!♥

I also have the right to breath clean air and not get cancer from second hand smoke, right? So who’s “right” is more important? To me it is the one that is NOT damaging someone’s health.

As for banning it in their own car, I’m not for the government telling people what they can or can’t do in private property (within reason obviously, I am a fan of murder being illegal on both public and private property). I do see the bans on smoking in police cars or other publicly (tax payer paid, etc.) provided vehicles. That is not their property.
